IMPORTANT -- PLEASE READ:  Georgeann asked me to advise participants about the Flying Flags GROUP reservation policy: 

1.   Your credit card will be charged for the first night of your stay AT THE TIME YOU MAKE YOUR RESERVATION.   The balance will be charged when you arrive and check in. 

2.    In addition, you must cancel two weeks prior to the first day of the rally (on or before Thursday, September 20, 2007) to receive a refund of the first night's charge.

If you have any questions about the reservation policy, be sure to discuss them with Georgeann when you call her.

As I did last year, I am fronting the group deposit to hold a block of premium sites.  My deposit is subject to Flying Flags' cancellation policy and is therefore for a limited time. 

To assure I receive my refund of deposit money, I will cancel the hold , and release any unreserved sites back to the park, within the terms of the Flying Flags cancellation policy.

Reservations made after I cancel the hold, or after the entire block of sites is reserved, will then be subject to availability and parking with the group will not be guaranteed.

To assure you secure a site with the group, please make your reservation with Flying Flags, ASAP.

After you've made and confirmed your reservation with Flying Flags, let us know you're attending the rally by clicking on this email link:

 
This will launch your default email application and show an page with default 'To' and 'From' information already inserted.  In the 'Message' section, type in the information requested in the sidebar to the left, and send to us so we can include you on the group's 2007 Flying Flags Rally signup list.  This list will be used to print coach window cards and attendee name cards.

SCHEDULE


FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5:   

Arrival and registration day.  Register and pay your park fees at the office.  

Park check-in time is 2:00 PM.  However, if you arrive early and your assigned site is still occupied, you can park on the grass holding area until your site is available.

After you've parked your RV unit, please contact Phil or Curt for your ID tags and window cards.

2:00-6:00 PM:  Set up and free time.

6:00-8:30 PM:  Clubhouse (obtain clubhouse number/location from Phil or Curt).

Welcoming remarks from Phil and Curt.  Self-introductions of attendees.

BYOB, “and Bring Your Best Hearty Hors D'oeuvres to Share,"  SOCIAL.  At our past events, the variety and amount of food shared was enough to be dinner for most folks.  

  

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6:  

6:00-8:30PM:  BYOB, “and Bring Your Best Hearty Hors D'oeuvres to Share,"  SOCIAL. 

THINGS TO DO:  For participants with children, we'll be parked next to a large grassy area that includes a very nice kids' playground.  Also, the RV park has a nice video game room.

Attractions in the area include Solvang, Wine Tasting and tours, golf, the Chumash Casino,  glider rides over the valley,  a miniature horse ranch, and fishing or boating on Cachuma Lake, among other things.  More information and links regarding these will be posted later.
