091211-EMAIL Announcement: 'Q' Planning reminders

HI EVERYONE,

Below are a few reminders about planning your stay at Quartzsite --

http://www.southwest-bluebirds.org/annual_quartzsite_rally/planning_your_stay/

******

HELP KEEP RALLY EXPENSES LOW:

Help keep our rally expenses low -- order your personal SWBB window

plaques and name badges.

Go to:  http://www.toocrazyladies.com/bluebirds/

To assure you receive your order in time for use at the 'Q' Rally, you

can choose "Pick-up at Store" when you complete your online order.

Then, pick up your plaque and name badges at the "toocrazyladies" vendor

booth after you arrive in Quartzsite.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

AVOID "GASSING" YOUR NEIGHBOR:

Boondocking equals generator use.

Everyone is requested to use a generator exhaust stack to route exhaust

gas up and out above your coach.

Homemade, or bought at Camping World, they are necessary in the Birds' Nest.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

RECYCLE YOUR ALUMINUM CANS AND CLEAR PLASTIC WATER BOTTLES:

Look for the labeled recycle containers located at the campfire and the

'Welcome Center'.

Crushing the cans will help save space.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

BRING SOME FIREWOOD:

Everyone is asked to bring some firewood for our nightly campfires.

Hardwood burns longer, but two or three bundles from the supermarket

will help.

Stack it next to the campfire area.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

VOLUNTEER:

One of the unique driving forces of SWBB rallies are the contributions

of volunteers who plan and host activities during our rallies.

Everyone has something to contribute to the enjoyment or learning of all

rally attendees.  Contact us with your ideas.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

RESERVE YOUR SOUVENIR AERIAL PHOTO CD:

The aerial photos and video are available ONLY on the souvenir aerial

photo CD.  Use the CD reservation form on the CD detail page to reserve

your copy.

Wind conditions at Quartzsite determine whether or not the photographer

can fly.  Payment will be collected on Saturday, Jan. 23 after it is

confirmed the photographer was able to fly.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

SHOWCASE YOUR TALENT or KNOWLEDGE:

Don't be shy!  If you have a talent, we have an audience.

If you have special knowledge or expertise you can share with attendees,

let us know.

***********************

Don't forget, when you've determined your ETA, let us know.

"Talk" to you later,

Phil
