This is a survey to gauge interest is a possible event at our 2010 SWBB
Quartzsite Rally. The event is for anyone who is a hunter or gun owner,
or a non-gun owner who wants to learn more about firearms from a
licensed professional…
Tom McCarthy has contacted a professional tactical instructor in Parker, AZ who instructs law enforcement professionals in handguns, high powered
rifles, sniper rifles, counter terrorism, etc. The instructor is
willing to join us, bring targets (to an appropriate area he can advise
us on) and ammo for purchase, provide instruction in marksmanship, gun handling, self-defense, and clearing misfires with handguns (revolvers and semi-auto), shotguns, and rifles, for only $10.00 per person, per hour.
The instructor is also a certified instructor in concealed carry weapons
for AZ, if anyone wants to become licensed (do it on their own).
Tom will plan and host the event. He advises comparable instruction can
cost up to $150.00 for a two-hour session with a professional.
