Hi Everyone,
There are a VERY LIMITED number of sites available for the combined SWBB
and Lone Star Birds Rally at the Albuquerque International Balloon
Fiesta, October 6-10, 2010.
If you would like to attend, you must make your own reservation and
confirm it with credit card, ASAP.
Here's what you must do:
1. Call 1 (888) 422-7277 and ask for "Marge" at Extension 122. Tell
her you want to reserve a site with the "BLUEBIRD GROUP" in the "VIP
East #1" campground; arrival date Wednesday, October 6, 2010; departure
date Sunday, October 10, 2009.
2. Confirm your reservation by credit card. You will have to pay your
camping fees in full.
3. IMPORTANT!! DO NOT -- REPEAT -- DO NOT make ANY reference to
'Southwest Bluebirds' or 'Lone Star Birds'. Rick advises we are
identified ONLY as "BLUEBIRD GROUP".
4. The phone lines may be busy, so keep trying.
5. SWBB and Lone Star Birds have to track their own attendees, so it is
important that you email me as soon as you make your reservation so I
can keep the list current.
ALL SITES ARE FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. If you are unable to secure a
site with the group, you have the option to reserve a site in one of the
other Fiesta campgrounds.
BE SURE TO EMAIL ME AS SOON AS YOU'VE MADE YOUR RESERVATION. When Marge
has notified me that our block of sites are all reserved, I'll start and
maintain a waiting list of those who are reserved in another campground,
based on the date and time I receive your email. If there is a
cancellation in our block, the first name on the waiting list will be
notified and given the opportunity to move into the open site (subject
to Fiesta rules). Subsequent cancellations, if any, will be given the
same opportunity.
